METEORA DAY TOUR

From Athens or Thessaloniki to Meteora and back
GETTING TO KALAMPAKA:

Departing from Athens, the train is by far the most pleasant way to get to Kalambaka.

 

From Athens or Thessaloniki, you can take either a train or a bus up to Meteora. The trains servicing the northern part of Greece leave from the “Larissa station” in Athens, while the buses serving that part of the country leave from Terminal B, at Liossion Street.

Also, we can schedule to pick you up from Athens or Thessaloniki with a minibus. (Contact us for more information)

In case you arrive in Kalambaka by train, we can pick you up from the train station and start the tour.

  • Price per person with a minibus: 25 euros (maximum 8 persons)

  • Price by taxi 20 euros per hour

  • Prive daily tour: Minimum 170 euros / 2-8 persons

 

PRICE INCLUDES:

  • A schedule is made after considering your own needs (private tour only)

  • A tour guide

  • Transportation is by a Taxi or a VIP Mini Bus (both are equipped with air-conditioning)

  • Bottled water for each passenger

  • Stops for sightseeing, taking pictures when requested

  • Learning about the culture of the locals

 

NOT INCLUDED:

  • Entrance fees to the monasteries and museums are not included.

  • The tour guide is not for inside the monasteries
